I Once Saw Them in the Back Room of a Pizza Joint

I Once Saw Them in the Back Room of a Pizza Joint

A collection of poetry from indie punk and hardcore fan Brian Elliott, spanning decades of show memories with a clever and contemplative beatnik style.

This book is seriously tiny in size! Designed as a “pocket book” and measuring 4” x 6”.

For many years I stopped going to shows. Moved from New Jersey to Massachusetts. Realized something was missing. So, at 41 years old I set out to rediscover the music and what it means.

I’ve spent decades traveling, going to hundreds of shows held in bars, basements, anywhere. As a teenager I discovered the beat poets of the 1950’s, and Buddhism, and I developed a love of poetry and writing. This collection is how I wanted to bring these two worlds together. -BE
